Ha!!! Looks like you're right ! Taking the tail lights off the sides of the fender makes a huge difference. Fooled me completely.
That's the best set up I've seen for tail light and plate holder.
Yes, the tail lights have been removed and a compact LED (stop/turn/park) unit has been installed under the original fender, also a more compact license plate holder has been moved closer to the fender. Overall, just a cleaner looking rear end.
How much is that Chop Z kit, it does look cool. How is the quality? Are the LEDs bright enough and quality enough to be safe. I notice the gap around the fender is a little iffy so it makes me suspicious, but it could be the camera angle. Is it plug and play or do you have to add resistors or splice wires? Also did it come with the hardware to fill the hole that the OEM turn signal stalks took up?
That is one of the cleaner ideas I have come across.
I went to their website and they do not offer it for sale so they must only deal with distributors, however they mention they are willing to ship oversees....confusing.
Where did you buy yours. The more I look at it the more I like it.
