Nice bike. Did you remove the plastic on rear fender and if so how hard was it?
Btw taking off the reflectors will void your warranty.

Well for the rear reflector you need to take the fender off. I have read some other options but this was the most effective one. It will take some time but not impossible.
I never heard about that but will take the risk on the warranty, it just ruined the bikes look .

If you are going after the fender , remove it by unplugging the plugs to the lights, uderneath the seat. Remove the 4 fender strut bolts located near the the oil tank. Gently spread the struts over the tabs and remove it in one piece. Takes about 10 minutes

Dang you only got 10hp gain? I ended up with a solid 16hp gain. I had to get it retuned afterwards cause it was running like grab with the unlocked power

Default Ready for 2-up riding

I added a HD detachable sissy bar along with a Fatboy rear pillion pad. Took some minor mods to the pillion to make it fit but picked it up for $40 so it was worth the effort. The OL was much happier riding on the back and it takes seconds to switch things back to solo running configuration. Sissy bar was purchased locally from another member so I have less than $200 invested for comfy 2-up riding.

For anyone looking, the stock Fatboy pad matches the stock seat much better than the Sundowner and the OL says it's very comfortable. It came off an '11 Fatboy but I'm sure other years would also work. The slots that fit the factory mounts have to be extended and plastic trimmed so it doesn't dig into the front seat. Took me 10 minutes with several test fits before I got it right but I didn't want to risk trimming too much.

Had to move on from my Breakout rather quickly but as much as I love it, it wasn't what I needed in a bike.. at least if I could only afford one. So I move to the Touring section but will still be looking at everyone's great rides and sick mods! Cheers!
