This link is for LEDs that are NOT plug and play. They include Positaps (see description). I want plug and play for sure.

Sorry for the confusion I actually bought this front LEDs from this web page below. I was a little worried due to the picture but when received it was correct, true plug and play. Less then 5 minutes to install.

Still an issue: The part description includes this statement:

"
2011-2012 Softail Blackline and 2012-2014 Softail Slim, and 2013-2014 Breakout will require part Can-adapter when converting rear turn signals to LEDs
"

See what I mean about converting to LEDs not being easy?

I did the Custom Dynamics leds and the taillight on my 2016 breakout and it was really easy. But I didn't need the adapter. Looks great, and much better lighting. And has a clean look

Yes, I understand.
I just bought it and tried it as they accepted returns. Wanted to have my own experience with this LEDs and it worked perfect for my 2016 BO, Front and back.

Jim, fwiw at one point I had the CD LED's in my 2014 bike - front and rear. I did not require a can bus adapter. The bike learned the new lights. Everything worked fine. One hundred percent plug-n-play.

Then I yanked the front signals off the bars in order to install Primo Rivera's LED headlamp w/ built in signals ... and that's where my problems started, lol... the bike simply did not want to learn the PR LED's for some reason. No biggie really - the indicators in the speedo just flashed fast. The bike flashed the LED's at the correct interval/rate/speed.

THEN I switched out the headlamp again - the Primo was not bright enough for me. I got something off eBay in the bike now. I'ts ok - better than the Primo was anyhow. It does not have signals built in. I kinda like having front signals for some reason, so I did LADog's mini LED install. They're bright and they work great ... but the bike still won't learn them so the indicators in the speedo are still flashing fast.... I don't really care though.

So, short story is that the CD LED's will be fine. I still have 'em in the tail light housings. Couldn't be happier.

NSR- nice pics, looks like the next cover of "Hot Bike Magazine" to me

Yeh my indicators flash fast but signals themselves flash normal. seems very common on the bikes with BCM module vs the previous generation and TSSM.

What did you go with for headlight? I'm using an 80w H4 LED bulb off ebay that I fabricated into the bucket. bright as hell. I flipped the glass and reflector housing upside down and it throws a good cut line. I know, weird right? anyway a lot of the time my high beam indicator comes on for no reason. probably has to do with the LED not providing the same level of resistance feedback to the BCM.

BTW that Primo LED headlight ((SUCKS)). tried it. no brighter than an OE halogen. some of the china daymaker clones for looking pretty decent though at $80 range. a few of them are full 40w cree leds. might pick one up.

Even after flashing the hazards for a while didn't allow the BCM to learn the new LEDs?

that trick is for the older bikes with TSSM module. the BSM will learn the correct bulb flash rate right away, but will still flash the dash indicators at a fast rate.

Thanks LA. I rode the thing all day yesterday with that fookin' HD seat on it - PITA. I'm still waiting to get my re-done Danny Gray seat back from the local shop that is doing it...he's booked solid 'till the end of May. I left the DG seat with him. I'm hoping some other job he has lined up will drop out and he can maybe squeeze me in sooner somehow. That factory seat just blows - and it's ugly. I need the DG back asap - wanna ride the bike to TROG Wildwood this year:

www.theraceofgentlemen.com

The latest headlamp is this one:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Motorcycle-5...-/131650541535

I got it from the same seller a few weeks back - but not via "Buy it Now". He was running an auction. I got it for 99 bucks.

The lens fogs up a little - and it's plastic, not glass. Last night I noticed that the low beam does not have much of a center. Light gets thrown to the left and right, but it's weak straight ahead. Weird. I have to play around with how it's aimed. That may be all that it needs. Also - it did not fit into either of the light buckets I have - the O.E. black one or the chrome version I run on the bike (EXACTLY like the H-D bucket, just chrome). I had to cut off the H-D factory plug. Again, no biggie for me.

If this one doesn't work out I'll just bite the bullet and order one of the JW Speaker LED's, lol ... done.
