So I bought some new mini apes for my 13 BO and I'm having trouble getting them installed.
I didn't realize when I ordered them that the bars (advertised as 1 1.4" diameter) are only 1" diameter at the risers. I've looked through the forum here and I've tried googling, but neither I nor my shop buddy can find a fix.
I know they make shims, but I can't find one with an 1" internal diameter and a 1 1/4" external diameter.

Send a private message to member 24V here on the board. At one point he had a Breakout with the F-Bomb pipe. He might be able to help you out with making it fit.
FWIW, although it looks great, there is a reason for that pipe being unpopular.........

As you can see from my picture the back pipe is hitting the frame, I've tried loosening the headers, and its far to tight to get the bracket in, ive researched the #no and most say it doesn't fit the fxsb breakout, im returning it tomorrow, and I would like to hear why it isn't popular before i order another one, iv'e also eyed up the Bassani road rage any info or thoughts on this system please.
And while i'm at it, this is my bike as it sits today, I bought it new last August in White. but since have gone a bit crazy, parts include Shotgun shock air ride, Heartland front fender, Thunderbike rear fender and seat base, paintwork is black basecoat with house of kolor marbeliizer and red candy, finished of with a clear coat with pearl powder to give it the sparkle, and all done with my own fair hands.and I'm not a paint sprayer by trade so be nice.
