Even if it's out of warranty? What did they do? Replace BCM? Reflash ECM? I'm gonna try a fresh battery first and see if that helps, since it seems other softail models have had the issue and a weak battery was the culprit.

Has anyone here eliminated the handlebar mounted guage in favor of a more traditional tank console and guage? I saw one in a YouTube video. Love to do mine. Like to know what model of console works.

Thanks man! Ya I'm excited for paint to be done. If it's not obvious from my forum name, I like choppers and chopper styling. I wasn't a huge fan of the minimal fender that came stock. It just didn't fit the bike, IMHO. The wrap fender fits the theme much better, IMHO.
