I am using a simple swing-arm bag from Vikingbags.com. It has held up very well so far.

I don't know about yall but the fact the Breakout is discontinued makes me consider keeping the bike forever. It's the best "chopper" looking bike HD has ever made.

I agree!! I picked up a 2015 Breakout about 6 months ago and it's like, where has this bike been all my life?!! I'm currently in the middle of repainting the bike and doing some of the mods that LA Dog wrote about way back in Jan 2016! There's a lot of good information on this thread, just takes some serious time to read through all the post.

This is what my bike looked like when I purchased it. It's undergoing a complete change right now.

Cool Return of the Breakout

According to this article, the Breakout is making a return to the lineup... Probably to be announced on Jan 18th:

Default Finally after 3 months of work!

Finally got my 2015 Breakout back together after doing a few mods that LA Dog wrote about. I did upgrade to front shocks along with putting a Night Dragon tire on the front, I'll do the rear once the OEM wears out. I did the rear sprocket swap out to a 68t, added a V&H full exhaust system, swapped out the OEM console for a Blackline console and finally the best part, getting the bike painted. If you look a few post above this one you'll see that the bike was originally red when I bought it. I had a few design ideas and worked with a buddy of mine who paints. So between my ideas and his skill with paint the pictures are of the results from the collective effort of the information I gathered from this thread and my buddy's painting skills.

My 2015 Breakout with fresh paint!

Default Rear wheel replacement(2013 breakout)

I have a 2013 Breakout. I removed the rear wheel for replacement. Do I have to adjust belt and axel after the new wheel is installed? If so does anyone have any advice on how to do that?
Thank you

Are you replacing the rear wheel with a exact same size wheel? Or you are just replacing the tire?
I removed the rear wheel/tire and replaced only the tire and did not adjust anything. If you replacing the wheel and removing the sprocket, you might want to replace the bolts for proper torque.

Thx , I'm using the same wheel and same tire. I took them off to get them and my drive pulley chromed. It's hard to find Breakout videos on youtube.

You will still need to make sure your tire is aligned correctly and tracks true, also you'll need to make sure that your drive belt isn't too loose or tight.
This video is what I used to understand what needed to be done. I also purchased a digital service manual, which handy when you can't find a YouTube video. I also bought the belt tension tool (like the one in the video) to make sure I had everything correct. I'm happy to say that when I had my Breakout for a front break line replacement I had them check my rear tire tracking and belt tension and they said everything was correct. So it's a simple procedure, just take your time, check and re-check!
