Has anybody installed a garage door opener on their Breakout? Looking for options
It's not on a breakout but this worked for me. Just drilled a hole in the dash, mounted a temporary switch, and wired in a key chain garage door opener to the switch. I mounted the opener itself to the inside of the dash with automotive tape. Simple and it looks clean.
Hey All, new to forum.
I’m a few months into a 23 breakout and absolutely loving this beast.
Ive done a few mods,
kept the original lights but upgraded the front to
the signature LED’s with the DRL’s. Stoked. Got rid of the orange at the front.
tail tidy. Pipes. Stage 2.
Down the track will be grips maybe.
To all the breakout haters, sorry.
love this thing, you gotta ride it,
you gotta muscle it through the turns,
that’s the beauty of it….

HAAAANG on!
Do the 2023's come to Australia with the side markers powered up? (the white lights in the indicators)???
Hey Chris,
no they don’t.
all the cars here now have daytime running lights,
but not on this bike.
I had to order new bullet housings with the double bulb terminal
housing and wire it back to the harness,
luckily after the indicator connector they are all the same
and the ignition power was there. Pheew!!
The other thing I’m waiting on is the matching
sundowner pillion seat, at the moment they only
have the last 2 years models,
wrong leather colour and style.
hopefully harley releases a new range to suit the
new bikes soon.

I was wondering this too. the 2023 catalogue is out at the dealers, I'll take a look but you should ask them as well.
Note that the Hammock seat (and anything made for the Fatboy) will now fit the Breakout with the new tank. Saying that, the OEM 2023 Breakout seat is a better seat in my opinion than the Fatboy Sundowner, as it doesn't "roll" your hips backwards. It's more supportive. If it were me, I'd get the Sundowner pillion for the Mrs, and keep the stock rider's seat.
I just can't decide between the Breakout and the Road King Special.
Yeah agree,
seat is comfy but it is a new colour scheme to the recent sundowner pillions.
hopefully soon they do one to stop the squeak in the rear… haha…
