Positives:
For the same price (if I remember correctly) as my 2018 Breakout, it's a 117 with a heavy breather, a 5 gallon tank, and - in my opinion - nicer factory wheels.
Negatives:
A little too much chrome for my liking (the fender supports, side covers, turn signals, mirrors), but that's personal taste and can be easily changed.
I'm not crazy about the colors for this year, but overall a big win for Breakout lovers.

What year Breakout would you consider buying if you where looking to buy one? Are the 2018 up really that much better as far as handling and power? if I was looking at 2017 down what is the best year?
When should I look into doing anything to my clutch and if so, what should I do? I´m about to surpass 23000 miles on my 2014 FXSB. This season I´ve installed some S&S 570 cams, a Bassani RR3 together with an FP3. Would a diaphragm spring be enough for me? Riding quite ´lively´ from time to time hehe. If you do have any suggestions, please do include suggested manufacturers and even possbily links/art no too!
Gosh. Possibly one of the biggest releases this year and Noone is talking about it?
-Changed rake on forks to improve mid corner handling
- Different seat with more scallop and shaped to fit the big tank and shroud from the Low rider S.
-The tank from the low rider S.
-taller risers
-117
-Chrome!
-the new wheels....
I want to test ride, and I wasnt looking for a bike!

i love all of the changes. But not enough to get a new one. My 15 is bobbed out and looking to other platforms for newer project ideas.
I wouldn't mind taking one out for a test ride, but I'm afraid that I might really like it and I can't have that!! 😂 I just recently got my 15 Breakout repainted, upgraded the front suspension, new handlebar cables, seat redone, new exhaust and changed out the rear sprocket! So maybe in 5 years I'll be ready to test ride a 23 Breakout!
