if you do a search on this site there is a fellow that will take your stock seat and make you whatever you really want. Have you tried gel inserts? Pillion seats for the passenger on breakouts are available or look for two up seats.
I use a Danny Gray solo Butt Crack and there is a passenger pillion they sell too.
I haven't tried gel inserts but the foreign bikes i use to own the mustang seat was really comfortable ill have to see what he can do thanks
I just took my OEM seat to a local upholstery shop and had them put in a gel pad and new foam shaped to my specs. I had the passenger pillion raised up for better back support and narrowed the nose for ease of putting my feet down and pushed back about an 1" because I'm 6'1". I did the same thing on my 14 SGS back in 2015 and I've kept that seat and it's now on my 21 RKS. I wholeheartedly believe in getting a seat customized to your needs instead of buying an aftermarket seat and hope it works out.

It's by a place in Brazil apparently: Worldwide Wings Custom. That's TWO INCH diameter tubing, and apparently the workmanship is pretty exquisite. Given the weight of a more typical 1.25" tubing engine guard, this one must weigh about 20 lb I would estimate!
The retired police motorcycle officer who runs the "Preload" website got one and did a short video with it on his 2023 Breakout. It DOES look gorgeous in the video. But, very, very costly.

I got a custom made 2/up C&C seat coming in. Can’t wait to try it out, went with gator skin and gel inserts for both me and her. Also put in to have it set me back as far as possible over stock seat. I’m tall at 6’2” and so far I’m really digging the Danny Gray buttcrack.
Agree with your assessment…bike handles fine and the suspension is fine. I was actually surprised at how comfortable the Breakout rides and how well it handles given the 34 degree rake and 240 rear. I believe Harley has engineered the chassis to get the best out of it despite the constraints for styling.
I'm a little late to the discussion, but I agree. I spent the last 17 yrs on a Suzuki M109R, which also has a 240 out back, a nearly identical wheelbase to the Breakout (the 109 is just over 1/2" longer according to the specs). It's not raked out as much, but is considerably heavier at ~ 760 lbs wet. I've had no problems with how the Breakout handles at all. It's actually a bit more nimble than I was expecting.
On the 2023 and later Breakouts (the models with the 2018+ Softail frame), how are the passenger seat and the rear fender attached to the frame of the Breakout? Is it via those externally visible angled chrome pieces that also house the docking points, or is there other support not externally visible?

I haven't poked around enough underneath yet to comment on the fender itself, but on the '24 the passenger seat is secured by just a single screw at the back, smack in the middle of the fender. At the front of the passenger seat, the plastic baseplate has two grooves that slide under the mounting bolts that secure the rider seat.

Yes, I knew about the way the actual passenger pad is inserted and bolted, but I am wondering how the seat and the fender under it are structurally supported. I tried to look at photos and drawings of the 2018+ Softail frame, but none of theem show the fender and seat support system. They just show the triangulated single-shock swingarm, not anything else above it.
