How do you like the way your BO handles with apes?
Apes are the only way!!! Well, I'm 6'4" so anything shorter than 16" apes makes me look like an elephant riding on a tricycle. For me, apes are the way to go. 16" apes on my BO put the grips right at shoulder height, which lets me ride all day long in comfort! Plus, the best part about apes, they make the BO look mean!!!! The stock drag bars look silly IMO.
Lookin good bro!!! Did you just do the headlight, or the housing too? I'm fan of the housing..it's what I got my BO and I like the visor look. Makes it looks mean!!

Thanks,
it is the complete headlight with housing, I still had the oem on before with led angele eye in it.

To me apes look ridiculous on any bike! On the Breakout, they ruin the looks of the bike and just do not look right
on there. But, that is just my opinion and you know what opinions are worth.

You build your bike for YOU, and not someone else! The older I get, the more I realize this. People always saying what is best and what looks good. It's all in the eye of the beholder, and that's what matters! I like apes, you like drag bars; at the end of the day, what looks good to the owner is what matters. Your bike is definitely rad my man!!! Looks amazing!! I just gotta throw a jab out about apes here and there, hahaha.

Fact is, on HD's 2015 or 2016 site, the BO photo gallery included a model with apes so the BO and apes aren't mutually exclusive on any fundamental level. This thread also proves that quite nicely. Apes on BOs are decidedly popular. Some guys think not keeping any model HD stock is a sacrilege while others, like me, think the unique degree to which a HD can be upgraded and modified is an integral part of what HD motorcycles are all about. "Nobody's wrong" !
