Thanks, can’t wait.

Trim, rocker covers, primary etc...are gloss black. I did the wheels in something called Forged Charcoal. Was considering something more custom for the trim but with my bike being Candy Chrome, I figured it might get too busy looking.

I've upgraded the front suspension as recommended. Sadly, I couldn't go for single rate springs and Ricor intimidators. Non of the parts were available in Europe and would be have to be sent from the US, when I took into account waiting for delivery, being stung by the custom and the total cost I decided to try to change just the front springs (Progressive springs from Hyperpro -came also with heavier oil). Maybe the suspension is not as great as the way LA Dog dicsovered but it was the cheapest and the fastest option (springs were delivered in 3 days job done including the service withing a week) and no more excessive nosedive. The negative thing is, this modification really brought into the light just how bad the stock rear suspension is. So the next thing on the list is the 422 shock with RAP.

I get it with the international shipping, exchange rates etc... Had to have these shorty risers from Thunderbike...cost me around $300!

please update on what you think of the 422 RAP setup. I’m thinking they might be the right solution for me too. I’m not an air ride lover.

These ones cost me nothing. I am too cheap to spend $225 US Dollars on a set of risers!

I have not got them on yet. I am in about the same state as you are, have the bike apart in pieces right now.

are you able to install the 280mm tire on stock wheel and stock swingarm?

I thought the widest you could go on a pre-18 BO was 260....I wasn't aware you could run a 280 and make it fit without rub using "a 3mm spacer"
