Trim, rocker covers, primary etc...are gloss black. I did the wheels in something called Forged Charcoal. Was considering something more custom for the trim but with my bike being Candy Chrome, I figured it might get too busy looking.
getting close to putting this thing back together. Got these pics today from my brother’s shop.
been running the 280 Metzler on my 2014 since 2015.
I would also like to know exactly what had to be done to run the 280.
Was it just a spacer behind the wheel pulley or did the drive pulley have to be spaced as well?
Can you let us know the thickness of spacer(s) you used?
I'm curious what gains in width you will have with a 280 against a 260, probably almost nothing because the rim is too narrow for this width of tire, will only be
much rounder. Even a 260 barely measures 246 on the stock rim, I mounted it myself and measured it, so not hearsay .

I agree....The 260 Metz mounted on my BO with the stock 8" rim at 38 psi measures 247.65 mm. The same tire on my Rocker mounted on a 8.5" rim measures 254.20 mm
From the “nobody really asked, but here it is anyway” department...in case anyone was wondering what a 19” front wheel looks like on a Breakout:
19” x 2.5” wheel with a 110/90/19 tire. Destined for another bike, but not for a while so I thought I’d try it out. I actually like it a lot, and it will probably stay on there this season.
Also finished my license plate relocation. It’s pretty basic, but I’m happy with it. Biggest cost was getting the replacement tail light spacer so both sides match, $15 plus like another $10 shipping. The rest is just scrap aluminum that was hanging around.
