Does anybody know the thread pitch of the stock risers? Does 1/2"-13 TPI course thread sound right?

I'm trying to plan out my winter mods, and I think the big ticket items will include pulling the front end apart to powdercoat some stuff. I was looking at these from Revzilla to help clean up the massive bolt heads for the risers.

That's probably the correct thread, but those bolts are only 3" long.........

Actually...reading the reviews, these are horrible. So, I like the cones that cover up the bolt heads though. Any other options out there like this??

Heard on the internet that the BO is on its way out of production. Would you still buy it bnew? I know that if you like it then get it words of wisdom, Is it practical to get it now or wait til 2021 if its true or not.

Anyone with the Arlen Ness Big Brake Rotor on their BO? Looking as my next mod but wondering if it's even worth it.

The Ness rotor is JUST a rotor? No caliper? What is the advantage over the H-D rotor?

I replaced my factory rotor and caliper with Performance Machine parts. The rotor is larger in diameter which increases mass and swept area. The caliper is bigger (6 piston vs 4 piston) which increases clamping area and force. Works great.

It's a bigger brake rotor, 15 inches, claims it provides with 30% more stopping power.

So the caliper must need to be spaced out to accommodate the increase in diameter.
The bigger rotor would increase swept area and mass.
Sounds like a good upgrade as long as the rotor is manufactured correctly, which it probably is, being a Ness part.
The next step would be a better caliper.

Had to put a 45 on this edge to clear the fork leg kick out that has a small radi in the corner.
