Does the triple tree neck nut take a 1.5 inch socket? The service manual shows the schematic and talks about torque values, but not the actual size needed. Just crusing youtube, I think that's what it calls for, but just wanted to be sure before buying a 1.5 inch socket.

I posted this question in the lighting forum, but thought I would try here too. I noticed lots of Breakout guys get rid of the big bullet turn signals on the handle bars and replace with something smaller. I like these ones from Drag Specialties, but they have to be wired up with a circuit kit to make them dual function as turn signals. Is anyone running something similar that is dual-function right out of the box?

I run the same turn signals! And I have them wired up the same way as showin4fun!! They are very covert, so having the dual function kinda defeats the purpose of them IMHO. Wired up as running lights, you'll see them ALL the time, as opposed to wired up single function and they only illuminate when the turn signals are activated. Just my 2 cents, but they are WAY better than the stock signals!
If you have CanBus you may need a load equalizer? I bought very similar ones from Thunderbike and to keep your instrument cluster indicator flashing at the correct speed an equalizer was needed. A single equalizer is needed for all four indicators on a non CanBus bike or two equalizers for a CanBus bike one for each pair of indicators front and rear respectively.
I ended up ordering the Drag Specialties front signals and will wire them as signals only as you guys suggested. Thanks for the the info and advice!
I also ordered these rear LEDs from Wunderkind Custom in Germany. They are Euro spec (have 4 wires per side) but my mechanic says he can wire them up to work, no problem. His shop specializes in stereos for Harleys so I am confident I think they are pretty cool lights and unique. https://wunderkind-custom.com/en/mot...s-for-fender-?
*Also just received my Legend Air shock so will be getting it installed soon as well. Things are coming together!
