Should only be venting fumes. And fumes alone will or should not damage paint
Might want to check your fuel cap. Those are supposed to as well. And when the dont, fuel may dribble from he tube
My 2018 fxbr's gas cap started buzzing as I'm heading toward 500mi on the BEAST! I followed a members suggestion somewhere on here and took a flat blade screwdriver, with a hammer, and carefully crimped the metallic ring underneath in two opposing spots. DONE!
Superdog have you thought about having your seat 'reworked' in the materials and filling choice and density of your own choosing to get it exactly how you want it?

Not really. Figured that cost more than another seat, plus no going back. Hate buying a seat without seeing it too. Mustang has one called Day tripper with some cool stitching. Has a wierd gray colored part. I contacted Mustang and the guy said they could special make one without the grey. Idk. Just kinda wanting to do something to the bike. All else is the way I want it.
Guys i cant find using search function on this site service manuals for 2017 Harley Breakout and 2019 Fatboy 114 could someone hit me with a link for downloads please?
And another question are service manuals the same as owners manuals?
Glad winter is over...it was an expensive few months.
Could you make a fly by and ride by exhaust sound for your bike? I have a Fatboy 114ci stock standard, no mods yet because I cant find fly by and ride by videos of m8 114ci videos

Superdog- I took my stock seat to a custom guy. Had him shave it, reshaped the plastic pan and stuff it with yoga mat (like a memory foam- but better). Then did a new cover with diamond stitching to match the paint. $300. And I was able to watch the process. Was told I didn't have to pay until I was happy with it.
You aren't going to get that level of satisfaction from an online seat purchase. Go custom.
