Having those smooth frame lines really makes the 13-17 Breakouts pop, IMHO. But, then again, I like choppers (if you couldn't tell by my screen name), so having a softail that LOOKS like a rigid chopper is my personal cup of tea.

vtchopper. Do you happen to know the part number for the edge cut rear brake arm on this one. Looking to put one on mine to go with the rest of my controls but can’t find one listed to fit the Breakout. Is that the standard softail arm even though it lists not for FXSB?

I have a pic of the box, not sure of the numbers...and a pic that shows the shape better, if you can match it up that way.
I,m pretty sure vtchopperdude had the same.

^^^^ Hi Keithduke01,

Love spending other people's money! Double check I am correct before ordering, but suspect remaining part numbers may be visible on sides of boxes depicted above?

Brake lever is 40084-10 part number that appears on the box above. You need to order the brake pad part number 42847-10 separately. Shift lever part number is 34043-10

Harley-Davidson® Edge Cut Billet Rear Brake Levers, Fits Softail Models 40084-10 - Wisconsin Harley-Davidson

Any hand wind deflectors for the Breakout? I rode a little longer than expected yesterday into the night and holy hell my hands were ice cold the 45 minute ride with temps in the 40s.

Such deflectors are not going to look good on the Breakout, you are going to spoil the looks, just buy heated gloves instead , works even better than heated grips.

Yea it would but I'd only leave them on during the cold weather season. The temperature swings here in north Texas can be big, maybe 30 degree difference from day and night. I'd hate to have to carry 2 sets of gloves.

MoneyFor is right, it would spoil the look. Heated grips are crap, all of them. Doesn't matter how good they are, they heat your hand from inside and is frozen from outside. Instead of buying heated gloves I would rather get a pair of thicker gloves (something between summer and winter gloves) that could be used. I'm sure you would use them for quite a few weeks during the season as the only gloves.
Was taking the bike for service last week, 6C (43F), around 50 miles- one hour ride, 45 mins from it on the motorway at 70-80 mls/hour. Started with thin gloves and needed to change them for my adventure bike gloves after around 30 miles, the rest of the ride was absolutely fine, got there with relatively warm hands.

I do not, but I'm sure someone will chime in with the part number. It should be on the HD site.

Default What risers are those

@vtchopperdude what risers where did you have on your breakout? I’m looking to get rid of the offset risers and go with a shorter straight riser and keep my top plate with my speedo
