Exclamation Another "Progressive Spring Install Help" Post

I've googled, searched, etc. and still stuck...

1. How do I get the fork seals all the way in?
2. How do I know when they are in as far as possible?

- I tried the PCV trick, a pipe, a screw driver +hammer & not 100% sure I got it right.

3. Does a pin go inside the seal itself? It has an indented ring inside the seal that looks like one would go inside but I don't remember seeing one and I couldn't find one when I googled.

4. How do I get the metal odd shaped ring to sit above the seal?

5. Do I add fork oil then the springs or the springs and then fork oil?

Pics included cause I know i'm horrible at describing things. Any help is appreciated!!

You should get a manual. The pvc trick works great. Ring sits on top of seal. You can see the small indents inside the fork tubes, above the seal, where it snaps into place. The ring snaps only a little way into the indents. If the ring wont snap into place, the seal is not in all the way.

Seal is in far enough when you can snap the spring clip into its groove.
Springs in, then oil.
