I've got an 07' Fatboy with the hard leather bags.
Best I can tell, I have a problem with the turn signals if I install the Easy Brackets. Has anyone got any experience with the rear signal relocation kit they suggest?
I agree with clammy ghost brackets has HORRIBLE customer service and i would not deal with them for that reason. i had a problem with them and filed a complaint with the BBB. there receptionist actually used profanity on the phone and no one ever calls you back. also you have to modify there brackets to make them fit drill holes. as far as i am concerned they are worthless as a company
Yosimite I have an 07 myself. Bought the Harley bags that have a brace built in. I went with Barebacks. They are super easy and will work if the bags are supported. As far as the relocation kits, I have the detachable backrest and you have to use them for the detachable stuff. Hope this helps...

Thanks man.
I've also got the detachable backrest as my intent was to have detachable bags and Tour Pack that looked similar to one another. Bags ended up being permanently bolted with the detachable lug in between the bag and the fender strut. As is, they had to install the turn signal relocation kit and move them to the back hole on the fender strut, but the lights are within about 1/4" of touching the back of the bags still.
Haven't seen the Barebacks. Like the look of the Easy Brackets cause their solid metal bracket with lock, but their website says we have to move the signals to use them. Their signal relocation kit looks nice but it's hard to tell for real based on the one pic they show. Think either bracket would work with my bag since they are a hard plastic shell with the leather wrapped over them.
