I was dumb and didn't disconnect it and I broke it.
Yea cause mine is a rubber fuel hose. If it happens again switch out for a rubber one. It handles the pressure fine and makes for an easy fix on the road.

Not likely, there are special clip fittings on the ends, not barbed tubing like your's.
Might have to take the tank and the injectors out and refit them for that to work.
And that's more trouble than its worth if all I have to do is make sure I don't stick my head up my *** to not have a problem.

The inner wiring, taking the controls off of the bars, getting it all back together AND working, is what's keeping me from changing my bars. That and no money to get the bars.

I've had the controls off the bars a half dozen times. No problem there - the wires stay with them.

Also, cutting the wires out of the harness and extending them is no biggie: You do one wire at a time and use color coded wires if possible. Solder all connections and use shrink tubing. (I use to run wiring harnesses in aircraft, front to back and then wire up 50 pin plugs, so I'm not expecting much trouble here once I get my parts in order)

Bar expense is another issue, though the ones in my pic sig were about $170 and my old bars (RK touring replacements) where $39 from JP, the Wild 1s pushed $200. What I can't get behind is $350 for Carlinis AND another $200 for their risers (since they don't shrink the bars at the clamp so you could use stock risers). And you can double that (or triple) if you have someone else put them on for you. And who only ends up with ONE set of bars? Too rich for my blood.

Just put the bars in place to see where I stand. Something I hadn't even considered is that I'm going to need new throttle cables. Existing cables are a mile too short. The tank definitely has to come off now... Clutch cable looks to have plenty of length.

Bars fit well, though. Sitting on the bike, grips are at or slightly above shoulder height. If I used the stock seat, I could have went with taller bars, but with the LePera, they're perfect. Won't make as much of a statement, but they'll be a lot more comfortable and I won't have to sit straight up to reach them (hate sitting straight up on a bike).
