Suppose to be able to do 1/4 mile times on it, couldn't find it on the instructions. Only bought it 3 weeks ago, I'll be ****ed where to find this setting. Can anyone help?

On mine you can turn the "performance" features on/off in the setup menu. Maybe they are turned off in yours?

Ah yeah that might be it, I thought that performance settings had something to do with the taco. I believe even though yours and mine are different models, they still have the same settings and features. Thanks again 24v

What all did you need to get the speedo installed? did you need the other sensors that are suggested?

All I did was plug the dakota straight in, gives me a heap of vital readings in the engine that I never had before, don't ask me how, I'm no good with understanding electrical stuff. Maybe 24v might be able to explain that better. I can definitely say the dakota is worth it if you're in the market for a digital setup

Yeah, same for mine, just plugged it in and it worked. But the older bikes might be different?

Yeah I would guess so as mine came with a spare plug with a few extra wires which I'd say was for an older model that lack a few things my bike already had. Either way have a look up on the dakota website, there might be some info on there
