Default ??spark plug spacing??

You guys may laugh but Ineed to find this out? What spacing do you set spark plugs too? Is it important?I got all the way down to Florida, from Wisconsin, and fouled a plug, replaced it but don't know the spacing. Now my springer bad boy runs great again, its a 1995. That's what I get for leaving my manual at home. Thanks.

Hey, thanks for the reply. Does it matter for the 1340-1450? Or is itthe same for both.

If you set the plug gap for .040" it should run well enough to get youhome to your manual.
Most V-Twins seem to run well at that setting anyway, so it shouldn't be a problem.
The worst that will happen is you foul the plug again, but witha new plug that's not very likely.
