............. Yep it is , and they look like you just Kind-a Figure out how to mount-um , I think if I was gunna do one I would use a Signal relocate, tube mount for some extra support , Something like this for extra support , and Spin-um around so that it would be inside the forks
I forgot about turn signals. I wonder if the Ness fairing would work with the Pro One Turn Signal Bar I have? My guess is the fairing would cover it up, which sux. Lol
The ness website says you have to fab the mounts but it still wont fit a fatboy because of the huge headlight. A dyna headlight is about 6" but the FB is like 8+ with the chrome.
I like the gauntlet but it gets a little pricey. The mounts are separate and it is all about 4 bills, plus ship, plus paint etc...money is no good unless you spend it, right?
Ok, so I have given up with finding a fairing that I like so I was going to make one. I started thinking about molds and forms I coudl use for a fiberglass fairing then I remembered I had a old OEM sportster lexan windscreen in storage. I dug it out and started reshaping it on the spindle sander. I actually kinda like this.
What do you guys think? keep in mind I will eventually paint it to match the bike.
for my 2012 Softail Heritage (FLSTC) Fairing with sound.
My bike is being repaired at Wild Turkey Choppers after a I put her down after a woman pulled out in front of me then stopped.
Lucky I missed the car - I still don't know how - but when I started fish tailing down my baby went.
The front pick kinda surprises me.
To the naked eye there is not so much color difference between the top and fender. But that is the difference between metal and fiberglass.
