I am seriously considering putting a Hoppe batwing fairing on my Fatboy Lo. My concern is being able to see over it, as I am only 5'1. I've not ridden a bike with a fairing, so it's hard for me to gage. I've heard great things about these fairings and how much people love them. I'm hoping this wont be an issue. Comments needed please!

 

Not sure.. I'm 5'11" and I can see over mine fine.. Maybe my sig pic will help you..

EDIT: I've got a 10 inch windshield

 

I'm 5'5" and using an exotic body fairing. I also have a lowered seat. I cut my shield down to about 3" so I can see over it. It works great with no buffeting.

 

Did you use a quick release mount?

 

I do have my own quick release mount, but I like it so much I doubt that I will remove it.
