Default Progressive Suspension

Anyone install the Progressive Suspension on their Softail? Just curious how they changed the ride for better or worse and any other thoughts?

I installed front springs (stock height) and rear shocks. World of difference.

Lowered my front 2" with the Progressive full kit and Ricor Intiminators. Definitely a stiffer ride, but much better than the squishy stock setup.

Stock height monotubes on the front. Better handling, less dive when braking. Firmer ride but not rough. Over all it was a good upgrade from the oil bath springs.
For the rear I'm going to install shotguns, just ordered today. Can't help you with the 422 shocks, all I can say is factory shocks with lowering bolts ride like crap.

I put them in both the front and rear on my rocker. MADE A HUGE POSITIVE DIFF.!! Should have done it first thing. The fronts for the whole kit was only 90 bucks. No brainer for that money. 1 hr easy install. se heavy duty fork oil. Rear, 422. Great shocks. I dropped the rear 1.5 inches. Rides great. 385 bucks at dennis k.. Tip someone on here gave me, if lowering your bike, the bump stop sometimes will hit, they recommended one for an 07 softail, it's thinner but fits the same spot...worked great on my bike, same size, just thinner. Ride safe.

Would you mind posting the PN of those bump stops or a link where you got them. I'm about to having my 422's installed on my Breakout.

Ricor Intimidators in front, 422s in rear. Bike rides and handles soooo much better. Kept bike at stock height, prefer ride quality and lean angle over looks.

Mono-tube on the front at the stock height and Shotgun in the rear. This is the perfect ride......

I got the 422s for 2000 and up softails. Haven't installed em yet on my 2010 fatboy lo. Are you saying the ones prior to 2007 will hit the bump stop? I wasn't aware there was a difference.

I changed the front out with the progressive drop in kit the best $100 you can spend not only does it look better it rides better also
