Default help need info

Does anyone know what the specs are for the axial play, (side to side) of the crank in an 88/95B?
15k miles ago the dealer, under extended warranty replaced a bad crank bearing.
The same issue has once again risen.
No warranty now.
I have basically striped both sides to expose the crank journals and have indicated the run out, radial and axial play. The axial play was the only one with concern; .045".
My book doesn't show a clear exploded view or have a spec. for what's allowable.
It seems to me it should be fairly tight given the book does show a thrust washer on the left side; no view for the right.
I don't ever seem to get replys through the forum so if you have some info. email me at; harleysrule69@yahoo.com.

Thank you
