I use Mobil 1 15/50 in the engine($22.99 for a 5 quart jug at Walmart or on sale NAPA). Buy two quarts of Harley Formula + stuff for transmission and primary..little savings here and hardly worth the trouble. If you do a lot of miles, use the Mobile V Twin 20-50 for the extra wear additives.or SYN 3. It will go 100K (3 owner lifetimes for a Harley) Ignore all the rest, they have not a clue about what they are talking about..

I go behind restaurants during the nightime and dip out of their grease trap. Bike runs like a top and smells great, too. A caution against Indian restaurants for the curry odor, however.
I thought I'd do something different this time and am running Shell Rotella 15-40 in the crankcase and primary. 85-140 in the tranny. Everything seems to be ginning' along just fine. Tranny shifts like butter; definitely quieted down "the clunk"...
Boy, I'm sure glad I'm not a new guy here with what seems to be simple questions. We are not all guys here with 20, 30 and 40+ years of experience and on our 1st bike! I am on God knows how many bikes in my lifetime, 40+ year experience and I am still learning things. 1 of the things I have finally learned here on this site in the past two years? This is a VERY expensive site to be a member of and to share **** with all you other guys out there. This bike I now have is the 1st EFI bike that I have ridden and owned. I am learning that some things with the EFI bike is like starting a whole new ballgame and still learning about. Having said that, even though it could be a nightmare if that acted up or took a **** 100 miles from home, I now prefer it over a carb, unless of course I got a 2nd bike which would be an old shovel head.
The guy whom I found and has my old 70 Electra Glide still won't throw a price out there for me. I REALLY want that old girl back. Not only do I love that bike, if I were to score it, my Son and I could FINALLY go riding together. OK, I know I broke topic here but I'm on nights right now, just got up and my mind wandered off and I tried to make the new guy feel comfortable. I am usually back close to normal on my 2nd or 3rd cup of coffee.
