I recently had my bars changed to some Carlini's 14 apes with high roller risers the shop did it.
Changed all the lines also, it's a fatboy lo.
I noticed today that my brake line running to the ABS is pretty tight, the line is pulled up at the ABS below, not like how the original was and a hard turn at the brake handle.
I noticed the master cylinder looks to be leaking a little would this be caused by the short cable?
I think you definitely should have gotten a new upper brake line. I've got 6 inch pull back risers and the line is pretty tight. Should a tight brake line cause leaking? I'm not sure but with 14 inch apes it's got to be pulling a lot harder than my brake line is. The ABS line is probably the biggest reason I haven't done bars yet. Not only must the upper brake line be replaced when using larger bars but the ABS has to be recalibrated by a dealer. A indy can replace the brake line but the ABS can only be done by a dealer since it requires special equipment.
