On my 07 fatboy the low fuel light goes on when I fill the tank. and then will go out after the tank gets down to around 1/4.
What the hell is that about? anyone seen this?
Do you have and LED fuel gauge. I was told if the grey wire isn't connected right the fuel light will run opposite.
Yes I do, But I followed the directions exact! I also installed one on the wifes bike with no problems.
Hmmmm, maybe I had a brain fart and crossed it. I'll have to check it out. Thanks for your response. It makes sense.
Hey Brtbag, I have a 07 Heritage and I installed a l.e.d gas gauge and I connectedmy grey wire to the wrong yellow & white wire and mine done the same thing your's is doing. You have two yellow & white wires under your console and if you connected to the wrong one it will show your low fuel light on when you fill up until you burn about 1/4 of your gas out then it goes off. Just connect to the yellow & white wire that runs to your speedometer and it will correct your fuel gauge. Now mine works fine after I re-connected to the right wire.
Hope this helps.
