I was wondering if anybody hear has any experience with swaping cables from one model to another. i am in the process of putting mini apes on my wifes bike "07 dyna custom" and was going to put my cables off my 06 street bob but it doesnt seem to want to work. And yes i know this is the softtail forum and i have a dyna but the dyna forum seems to be preoccupied with mindless threads so i thought i would come over here for some help. I have tried to put the throttle and idle cable on but they seem to be not quite right, in order to take up the slack i have to completely losen the adjuster and then there is still some slack in the cable. When i lay both cables on the ground side by side they look identical. So i looked on the barnnet web page and they show two different part numbers. I dont understand what could be different about the two. The bike are basically identical,Any help would be greatly appretiated. Thanks.
