I finally pulled my Slim out of its parking space and I am getting it ready for the season. As I was moving it, I noticed that if I turn the handlebars all the way to the right and twist the throttle, it will not snap back. If the bars are center or full left, it will snap back.
I was going to lube the right bar end under the grip and lube the two throttle cables regardless, but now with this issue, what else should I be looking for? Checking for pinched cables is the big one, but what else should I be looking for? My Slim only has 1200 miles on it. I changed out the grips after the first few hundred miles and I had the 1000 mile service done already.
A side note, what do you guys use to lube your throttle cables? I picked up a can of dry graphite from Farm and Fleet to use.
Do a cable adjustment, or better yet, have the dealer do it under warranty. Plenty of YouTube vids on the procedure, pretty simple and straight forward.

I've never heard of sticky cables being covered under warranty, but good luck with that.
I use dry graphite and give them both a squirt or two from the top about once a year, and never have any issues. Of course, upgrading your cables will help. I have the HD Diamond Black, and it seems like I don't even have to lube it, but do it anyway. Wife has stock cables and they do indeed feel like they need it about once a year.
Cable's binding...loosen grip, adjust & lube. When you turn bars to right, follow/note how your cable travels. This will give you an idea on why it's hanging...good luck!

Brand new bike that just had the 1000 mile service done. Included in that service should have been adjusting and lubing the cables. Someone obviously skipped a step. If his dealer is worth a ****, they'll take the five minutes to adjust them free of charge.
That said, sticky cables regardless of bar position would indicate a need for lube. The OP did not say the cables stick, but that the throttle fails to snap back at full right turn. Since the snap back test at full turn is an indication of proper cable adjustment, then that is where I would start, barring any visibly pinched cables etc. Just my .01, the gov't took the other half.
