Open Primary and electrical issues on 2013 softail

I don't want to forget to ask about the electrical issues, though. Has anyone heard of throwing codes if you chop off lights after the new 2011 HD circuitry?
If, in fact, it does do this, can't they just pull the wiring and hard wire everything? I won't need turn signals, horn or a start/ignition button. I planned to plunge it from the starter. Is there a lot more wiring that I am not aware of?

1990 softail custom, Ultima open belt drive with the outrigger bearing supports. E+M motorcycle parts on ebay, 750 delivered, last year. They are listing for 1299 now. I must have got the deal of the century, that is why I jumped all over it. It has been trouble an free and smooth, easy install.
