Does anybody make saddlebag guards that fit quick detach brackets? I'm talking about the kind of saddlebag guards that keep throw-over bags from getting into the wheel.
I like throw-over saddlebags more than bolt-on or quick detach. But I like the quick detach brackets for the sissy bar when the wife wants to ride. I can't find any guards that fit with the brackets. I got some great-looking throw-overs I want to use with my new Lo.
My problem is I want throw over bags and have none...LOL. I think I have seen what you want in my quest for what I can afford. If I find them again I'll let you know.
What I did was bought and modified some standard docking hardware to compensate for the thickness of the guard brackets. I can run the stock hardware when not using the bags or the modded ones for trips. Being a machinist, it only took me a few minutes. I'm sure you could find a shop in your area to do this inexpensively.
