Any one know where I can get a small single port USB charging port for my bike. I found one but at the ridicules price of a140 dollars unreal. I want something that you just hook to the battery and installs with one bolt. Chrome if possible but black will do if it's small any help will be appreciated
670ne that's a little more than im looking for all i want is a bare bones ome usb port as small as they make it like i said i found one but at $140.00 its way over priced
Agreed, that is a bit expensive. I just went with this one on ebay for $12.99. Since it's only 7" long, it'll easily hide and I'll just run my usb charging cable.
Not sure exactly where you want to mount it and what for but this is what I did my scoot. The 3BR Powersports TAPP Lite USB Power Port with Mount Saddle is a once little unit and has a mount that will stick to a flat surface or around the bars. I just tuck mine under the gas tank.
I have one under my head light it came with my hog tunes system but I wanted something like the one I posted so I can bolt it somewhere close to my left side handle bar that's were the control is for my iPod thing is if I wanted to remove the I pod and Velcro the gps to the same spot on occasion I could and when not in use you would not see it pretty much when in use I just grab the cord attach it to the port and then the gps or plug in my phone I guess I could use something like you have pointed out I am undecided as of yet I want to do some trips this summer and I a going to use my gps on them I get lost all the time.
SAE to USB charger works like a champ, have used it for my iphone on many a trip, although the current price on amazon is 19.95 I could swear I only paid $10 a year ago for mine
