I just picked one up a couple of weeks ago and I love it...
I had previously been running NightRider ViED's after a less than satisfactory dealer Stage 1 remap.
The dealer "tune" raised my oil temps, produced unbearable decel pop, and gas mileage even increased - the bike was still way too lean (EPA regs).

The ViED's did a good job of correcting all three issues, so much so that I left them on for a year - but I never considered them to be a long-term fix and I didn't want the full-time piggyback install.

When the FP3 came out I jumped on it.
Between the dealer remap and the FP3, my oil temps have dropped 50°, decel pop is totally gone, the bike runs smoother, pulls harder, gas mileage has returned to a respectable 40 MPG and it even sounds better.
I plugged in the tuner recommended 1st map and the difference was immediate... After a couple of AutoTune runs, it has improved even more (smoother running), although the differences now are becoming less noticeable as it gets "dialed in".

As far as I'm concerned, I've already taken it back off and put it away.
I can't imagine the bike running any better than it does right now...

Does it marry to the bike like the SERT and PowerVision? I got the SERT at my 1k service, but I am almost convinced all they did was put it in the box and give it to me when they bent me over for $$$.

Yeah, it marries upon first flash...
And you're right about the dealer - they'll sell you the SEPST claiming it's necessary to re-flash the bike, which isn't true with just the canned map they downloaded - but you can bet they married it your bike just the same - aka "no refunds". Thieves...
