2007 Deluxe - engine light on start-up
I have a 2007 Deluxe that the engine light comes on after start-up while at idle for about 10 seconds and then goes off. The scooter has 28,000 miles and runs like a top until yesterday it seemed to idle a bit slow. Today the idle rpm seemed great. no knocks, pings, screams or otherwise detectable noise. I do have a Vance and Hines fuel control module on the bike. I am going to reset the module tomorrow but I really don't think that is the problem but an obvious good place to start.
Does anyone have any idea what else could cause this issue?
