ordered my apes, went for the 20" buffalo apes, got wiring kit and cable kit as well, also order new white nostalgic grips from harley everything should be here in the next 10 days or so, so within 2 weeks everything should be on the bike.

ok so the apes arrived, and there is a problem haha the part of the bar the riser clamps onto is only 1" not 1 1/4".
so i need new risers.
so took the bars to harley and asked for a quote, discussions happened, they said they couldnt quote as i didnt have the risers so they need that first etc, then i realised the slim has 1" bars so i asked nicely if they could take of the bars from their slim and see if my bars would fit on with the stock slim risers.

they agreed and hey presto they fit. so i have my new HD risers coming to fit onto my bike.

but damn the bars are perfect like they look sick as fooook! i snapped a photo of the bars on the slim and then my mate got one of me so you can see the were the bars come to on me, im 6"2 and the bars are 20" high and 40" wide.

cant get over how sick they look lol

Default apes installed

BOOOM!

done, new apes and grips installed, surprisingly comfortable to ride with, the only bad bits are the new clutch cable needs wearing in, when pulling up to junctions i have to change the way i look as i have a blind spot now haha
and had to flip the mirrors underneath the grips as i was having to look to the sky to see anything lol

bars come up to my forehead when sat upright, otherwise if im slouched they are just above my head .

im impressed with them though
