Before i did all my mods (cams, intake, exhaust, tuner) I was getting about 200 210 on the oil dipstick temp gauge. A Fter the the mods and after adding a fairing (which i think was a big factor in temp) I jumped to 250 + . There is no stop and go riding up here in the high country its all GO. BUt i felt that temp change especially when riding through some of the hotter canyons. So I decided to add a Jagg oil cooler with the thermostat and Bingo it brought me back down to about 210 max on the stick. So i guess it depends on what you do to your bike and if you caused a jump in temp like i did. The cooler was the last thing i did to mine and im glad i did it. It mounted to the engine guard just below the left turn sig, you can just barely see it in the pic.
