Default Braided brake line

Should be a simple question. The braided line screws into the banjo bolt. Should Teflon tape or some other type of sealer be used to prevent leaks?

No Teflon sealer should be used on brake lines. The banjo bolt shoul have crush washers. One on each side of the eyelet.

The banjo bolt does have crush washers on each side that screw into the master cylinder. The brake line is not attached to the banjo bolt and screws into the banjo bolt. Kind of like a male to female fitting.

I'm not sure I understand your last post, but no sealant of any kind should ever be used on a brake system.

I think you will find that the threads here are a flare type fitting which wants metal to metal meeting. Thread sealant can cause more leaking then it can fix.
