Default Baffle Question

On my old bike I had V&H BSS and on my new bike it had V&H longshots on it when I got it. Which should be louder? It seems like the BSS were a lot louder than the longshots. I was thinking maybe somebody put quite baffles in thelongshots I have now. Do I have to take the baffles out to find out? If so, whats the easiest way to get them out. Thanks in advance

I took my baffles out and kept them out on the longshots and they sound much better . the screws are behind the pipes toward the rear you can grap them in the pipe with needle nose pliers and pull them out

i think you are wrong.. if you look at the fitment for monster baffles at www.bigcitythunder.com the bss inside diameter is 2" where the longshots are 2 1/8" id..anyway..i have the longshots and i took my baffles out. i loved the sound, but i think it really annoyed people. so i got the monster baffles. still loud, but tolerable..
