Default Heritage vs Deluxe

After looking at 100s of both,I found a difference that I have never seen before and never seen discussed here. The Deluxe headlight rides about 2 inches higher,no ****. I was at the dealer looking at both side by side (2014) and there it was. I am not sure if it is longer fork tubes or if the upper is longer or what but it sure is higher. I was going to get a tape measure from the truck to find out what is longer when the sales guy started buggin me so I just left. I was always told the fork is the same, but it is surely not. After all these years anybody else notice this?

I have both bikes ('05 Heritage & '09 Deluxe) and just went into the garage and checked. Both headlights are at the same height. The Deluxe sits lower at the seat, but the headlights are at the same height on both bikes. Maybe it's different with the new bikes???

I think that could be. These were both 2014. I even thought that they might be leaning different, so I had a guys get on them to set them up straight. Yup we all saw it. I think the deluxe has a longer lower part of the fork

Maybe the bike with the lower headlight was lowered in the front end by 2"?

The Deluxe has more rake to the front. Check the specs.

Default Deluxe

The deluxe use to be the lowest bike at the seat but not any more the slim has now taken that position with it being 23. Something
