Default New Helmet

I'm posting this here because it matches the bike with the Memphis Shades Bullet fairing on it.

I always ride with full face helmets but I've always ridden Sport Touring bikes.
My last helmet was a Shoei X Twelve and riding this Harley, I cant see the damn gas tank much less my speedometer.
I ordered a Biltwell Bonanza but it ended up being too small.
Then I got to thinking about smashing face first into something.

Sooo, I ordered this Bell Bullitt.
It's really well made with pockets for earpieces for your communications device or whatever and the materials are of high quality.
It seems to be a solid helmet. Not quite as solid as my Shoei but that's a dang $700 helmet so I didnt expect it to be.

Anyways, this thing has a huge face opening and I can see everything really well. Almost like riding with an open face.

I'll attach a pic I found on the internet of a dude drinking a beer with it on.
And a pic of the bike and my new helmet.

I'm still waiting on my seats to get here so I can get my new rear fender fitted and holes drilled for the seats so I can get it painted.
Its been a dang month now.
Anyway, here....

That reminds me of Daft Punk headgear.

Nice bike.

You Sir, are a gentleman of obvious taste.

It's become my daily rider with its great field of vision. Well vented too. And looks cool.

Bell can't make them fast enough. They are selling very well.

Black helmet with yellow bubble screen reminds me of my first fire helmet. With full face helmets and Louisiana summers I sweat so much I can't see. Kind of cancels out the safety advantage.

It seriously is the closest thing you can get to wearing an open face. I think Im really gonna like this helmet in the summer time. I can feel the wind on my entire face. My Shoei is a great helmet but it was so frigin hot and sweaty on my face.
I'm gonna put my Scala rider in it and see if I like it on there.

It does indeed feel like a 3/4. At times I find myself reaching to scratch my chin, only to realize there's a bar there.
