Default Oil Tank Options

Will the Rocker or Breakout oil tanks fit the other softails? Are there any other options out there for a different looking oil tank?

Yes, a rocker oil tank will fit other Softails. You're gonna have to change one of the oil lines but other than that it bolts right up.

Round oil tanks are out there, but the line routing is different, so do your homework.

The Rocker tank will fit other similar Softails but a few things will have to change. If you compare it in size to the more typical horseshoe tanks you'll notice that it is much larger. One of the first changes this will cause is that your fake seat post which really just serves to hold your coil will need to go and thus your coil will need to be relocated. The Rocker tank is also larger because the spacing on the back side accommodates a different electrical panel on which the ECM is mounted since it can't be mounted to the rear fender like on other Softails. You wouldn't HAVE to relocate your ECM but I'm not sure how this would affect the mounting of your existing electrical panel.

Exile do a pretty cool round tank and if it's like their bars and throttles the quality will be the best out there.

Anyone have photos of the Rocker C oil tank on another softail? I love the finned look and would get one if it would fit my Slim without any major modification.
