Thanks guys.. I tried calling Progressive yesterday but was on hold too long, so I hung up. I'll call again today. I just want to make sure I order the kit that goes the lowest. They have what looks like a few options for the Deuce.
Kiwi- your sig pic also looks like the stock fork height... is this with progressive??
thats old pic, i got progressive 422 in back now, front stock
I'm not doing air on the front. Just looking to find the lowest spring kit for the stock fork.
And to be honest with you, I always tend to build my bikes centered way more around looks than performance / practicality.
Village... That new pic.... the front fork still looks stock?!?!
That one may have been. I didn't get the front done until after the Shotgun was installed. It still looks a little high when slammed, but after the new wheel and 2" lowers, it'll lower it another inch and look a lot better.
The picture you posted has the rear up higher too, so it looks more level and evened out. I have probably a little over an inch clearance between the pulley and the fender when slammed. I can't ride at that height though because the 200 tire I have in there comes in contact with bits back there. I'm gonig to rememdey that though. I'd like to be able to have it totally slammed so that I can ride at it's lowest point without contacting anything. It's not something I'd do all the time, but it would help with not tearing up the rear tire.
