I could tell my rear dunflop was starting to lose traction at 4,000. Itll be done by the time i get back from laconia.
Perhaps I just got a good production batch.
I ride about 70% around town but am not that aggressive.

On the first 4 rears I had the stock Lops 401's,, each one I changed at 10k.
On the front, I had two stock 401's that when an easy 20 per.

At 40K I had a set of Mich's Commander's II's installed hoping for longer tread life. Using my tire gauge,, so far with 7+K on them,, I don't see them lasting any longer than the Lops.
What's surprising me is the front will need replaced at the same time as the rear will, which I am looking to get maybe 11k out of them.

I can't say the Mich's grip any better, Never had an Issue with either or any tires I've had.

The Mich are better on tar snakes and road grooves going straight, But in turns in town that have tar snakes they are really loose, so much the first time I felt it I stopped the bike because I thought I had a flat tire or something loose. They also are a little harsher ride because of their higher rated load..

For me, I won't be buying another set of them

Thinking My next set will be the newer Lops Elite 2nd generation..

Stock Dunlop Whitewalls on my 12 Heritage. I've gotten about 10k on each rear and the front is still good at 23k. My riding is mostly straight on highway and suburbia.
