I've tried searching the forum, scoured the net, and contacted Progressive with no luck. Progressive says they're working on a kit but it'll be 6-8 months, which really means 12-16 months.
Does anyone know if there is a drop in lowering kit already out there that would work for the forks on the Blackline?
i don't know who you talked to at Progressive, but any set for an FXST will work. same forks. same size. i can't find the email, but i had emailed them last year about a part # for thier monotubes, lowered, for my Blackline, and they shot me back the part #. go to your local bike shop, or hell, even dealer, and they should know, but they already have them, standerd, lowered, or mono tubes for our bikes.
I talked to Jeffrey Hill. Asked about lowering the forks, he told me I should get 422 shocks. Told him I was talking about the forks, not the back shocks, and he told me nothing else would work and that it would be 8 months before they had anything for the Blackline...I knew he was full of it.
Did you end up buying the lowered monotubes? If you did, how does it handle?
no, life got in the way lol. just ordered a 23" wheel this week though, and my local bike shop ordered the lowering springs for me. i'll let ya know when i get everything installed in a couple of weeks.
