Hearing this like this sicken me...

I am glad to hear you are going to be ok...and it sounds like the guy is a world class turd. With any luck DPS or some sheriffs department will pick him up. If it were me, just to send a message, I would press charges for attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, and consipicy to commit murder. Sounds like, to me, with all of the witnesses, it could fly, even in the Great State of Texas.

That said, I am not a lawyer, nor do I play one on TV.

Heal up and get back out there!

Glad you are alive. I recently went down on the bike and broke a rib and punctured a lung. I know the pain your going through. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Karma' same bitch dude. He'll get what he deserves. Hope you have a speedy recovery and hope the ins claim goes well. If you have a good company you'll be taken care of. Also hope you have fun new bike shopping when the time comes. I know your bike can feel like part of the fam. Hopefully you can move on fairly easily.

Thanks guys. I know I'm one of the lucky ones. A lot of good people have lost their lives or use of limbs etc. due to the actions of others. Karma is a bitch I know that guy will get what he deserves. The Travis County Sheriffs that I have dealt with have been over the top helpful and I know they are doing the best they can.
Getting back on my feet will be my primary focus closely followed by taking care of the mountain of medical bills coming my way. Another sore subject as my company changed our insurance plans, they're more like Obamacare. Our premiums went way up and coverage's went way down. But that's another subject.
Like most people I've had some ups and downs during my life, the nice words of encouragement like I've received here helps during those down times.
Thanks again

Really sorry to hear about your accident. When will people have respect for us on the road? I always drive like I am invisible because I am. Sounds like this was intentional though.

Sorry you're hurting. Feel better quick and enjoy tracking down a new bike and planning the mods.
