Sorry to hear about your bike. I was in Austin from ROT and saw a few raged up cagers hassling bikers. The worst was the guy near downtown in the pickup threatening to run over bikes in the parade because he couldn't cross the road. The police did a great job keeping the peace in a lot of situation between bikes and cars.
Got some good news the other day. The insurance adjuster and repair shop found no frame damage so the bike can be rebuilt vs their earlier determination that it was a total loss. They assumed framed damage before checking due to the visible front end damage before tearing it down. Should be done by August, some parts have a long lead time from Harley due to Big Blue Pearl, as a single color, being discontinued from the Heritage in 2014. It's only available now as a 2 tone. At least that was some good news. Now to take care of healing and medical bills. Glad to still be here and even happier to know that I'll have her back. Oh and when she's back she'll have chrome cables, controls, and 62 tank emblems and a few other odds and ends will be upgraded as well.

I was able to stop by and check out the progress on the bike. She's almost done! I wasn't able to take any good pics as I'm still not mobile, using a cane to get around and can't get into tight spaces I also needed to go back under the knife on Friday for more work on my shoulder. I should be back to work in 2 weeks! Maybe on the bike by November, good thing I'm in Texas as the weather will still be good for riding. All depends on how the shoulder heals.
Anyway a few crappy cell phone pics, not the greatest but will post more later. The three marks on the tank are artifacts from the camera.
I decided to add chrome controls, braided chrome cables, 61 tank emblems, a studded passenger back rest, tinted windshield, and not installed yet are split vision mirrors and flush gas cap and gauge. Those parts were ordered yesterday, figured what the hell. They still need to bleed the brakes and re- align the exhaust.
One exhaust tip was damaged and the replacement doesn't match so another is on order. Almost there!
Glad your getting better. Traffic in Austin, just S*&^s!! I visited there last year and was stuck on Mopac with all the cagers. Without being to legally split lanes you get to watch and feel your bike meltdown. Luckily, I was able to get to an exit and take side streets and back roads to get where I was going. That was the one benefits of living in Austin for 10-12 years.
