You're under 200 miles to Laconia... and you're not riding?!

Front tire cradle, some ratchet straps, and some soft straps for the attachment points. Ancra makes some great products. Rode my FLH from Reno to Sturgis in 1980 so I don't want any flak about my suggestions.

With soft straps you don't need a towel. Just watch that you don't pinch the wires or cables.

So the front two to the bars, soft straps, the back two to the sissy bar? Kick stand down im assuming, and not too much tension on any strap

I don't put straps on the bars, don't want to risk bending the bars by tightening the straps on bumps. I use soft straps around the fork tubes between the upper and lower trees.

If you don't have a front wheel chock, then just bolt/screw two short lengths of 2x4 to the trailer flooring. One on each side of the front tire.
This keeps the wheel from walking sideways.

Don't put the kick stand down! The bike will move around a bit and it can damage the kickstand, and depending on the flooring on the trailer it can wear a hole in the flooring.

Also, I don't tie/strap the back end down but just use soft ties around the lower frame rails to the sides of the trailer to keep the back end from walking back and forth.

BTW:
I use two straps on each side of the front of the bike just for backup. I've been told this isn't hear something 'jingling'. When I stopped to check, one of the front straps had snapped and the end was dragging on the ground. If I had only one strap on each side the bike would have fallen over.

If your signature is right, and you're in Canton, you're 187 miles form Laconia.

Enjoy the rally; I'm sure you'll have a great time.
