Default 200mm rear conversion... Can somebody confirm

Ok so I've done hours of research on this. But all the threads have different results with no confirmation. I'm looking to convert the rear of my 2005 Fxst w/ 150mm tire to a 200mm wide rear tire. This is what I understand:

Swing-arm for the 2006 up softail with the 200mm rear are basically the same except for the brake mount.

I need to buy a 5.5" rear wheel to fit the 200mm tire. The hub should be for a 2006 night train or model with a 200mm rear.

I also have to buy a 2006 narrow pulley in order for the belt to clear the 200mm tire.

If I'm getting 2006 pulley and wheel hubs that means it'll be using the 25mm axle which will only work with a swing-arm made for a 25mm axle.

I also need a narrow belt. Do I also need to get a different pulley inside the primary or will some type of spacer work? Any other spacers I need? Or anything else I missed? (already have a Heartland kit) thanks

Uh... I think the rear axle is 3/4" but I'm not sure (it's been a while since I thought about trying to use crossbones wheels on mine)... anyway, the metrics started in '07 I believe. If no one checks, I can go look in my books for you.

Will a 200 fit on a 5.5"? I have a 6.5 (which is actually 6 counting where you're supposed to measure and not the outer most edge) with a 200 on my Deuce.

You'll probably need a new rear fender too.

Pretty sure it's 08 they started? I'm certain my 07 is 3/4 still

Thanks fellas. I have the Heartland kit so I am already cutting horns and have a new fender. Good to know the 06 still has the 3/4" axle. I will stick with my stock swingarm and grind what I need to fit the caliper. Basically what I need to get is:

2006 70t narrow pulley
narrow belt
custom spacers to push the pulley outwards

Now what about the drive pulley in the primary? Do I need to put a spacer in there to line the belt up with the rear pulley?

Seems like a 5.5" is what everybody uses. Is your 200mm tire pretty stretched on that 6.5?

The pulley in the primary will be fine, from what I remember about all the threads on this. I was going to do this to my Night Train, but decided not to. I ended up putting a fatboy rear fender and hard bags on. So couldn't justify putting the 200 on, since you wouldn't really be able to see it much. And the 150 lasts a lot longer than the 200..

No. It's an oem softail custom wheel.
