I am thinking about a chrome swingarm for my Deuce with the stock rearwheel. Anyone have any pics. Do you think the stockwheel would look like crap with a chrome swingarm? I would also replace my stock pulley with a chrome one or at least a chrome cover.
personally I have always liked a little contrast in color and think the black swing arm looks good when surrounded by the chrome belt cover and frame inserts.
This comes up very often, Softails were designed to flow and 'look' like a rigid, when you stick a chrome swingarm on it completely takes away from that concept.
Unless you chrome the entire frame, I'd save the chrome dollars for something else, like chrome wheels? JMHO, you asked..
Here is mine. Was going to do the chrome swing arm but the more i looked at it the more i liked the contrast. Take a peek at my gallery, i have some misc. chrome parts on the swing arm and axle covers.
